But does Katara like him as much as he likes her?
P.S. You wouldn’t mind if I made a few, uh, pit stops around the story? Right?*

(All sentences between chapters that have * at the beginning and end is me talking)

It was still dark. The woods were still very damp. This is what woke Sokka up. “Yawn,” said Sokka as the rising sun hit his face from between the dark trees. “Ugh,” replied Toph on the other side of camp. “Yawn,” said Katara, as she woke up from Toph’s “Ugh.” “Ugh” teased Aang, because Toph said “Ugh.” “Have any break fast eggs?” said Toph, slowly getting out of her sleeping bag.
“No” said Katara, as she put her hair in the regular braids. “How about… grilled artic ham, giant tortoise fillet, possum chicken, salami, pastrami, baloney, stramboney?” said Sokka, beginning to drool. “No,” said Katara. “All the meat is still really wet.” “Nuts that are probably rocks?” said Aang, rolling his eyes. Yes,” said Katara sadly, as she tugged the knot out of her braid. She turned around and walked a few feet away from the camp and into the edge of the damp woods. “Hey Katara, do you need a shovel?” said Sokka, looking in the food bag on a tree stump by Aang. “No!” said Katara, blushing. “I’m uh, sewing clothes.” She ran back into the woods. “Wait one earth bending second!” said Toph, turning to Aang. “Doesn’t she need clothes to be sewing?”

“Only a bunch of rocks for Aang!” said Katara, hiding behind a big tree a few feet into the forest. “How could I be so stupid? (*Minus one for huge crush on him.*) When will I get the guts and food for him to know that lo-” “You want him to know what!” said a male voice coming from in front of her, as if it was hiding behind a tree itself. “Who are you?” said Katara.

*Hoped you liked Chapter 1! I have a question for you.
Who do you thinks talking to Katara?
It could be Iroh, me, Haru, me, or Zuko, oh and me. Guess now!*

*Okay, Chapter 2!*

“I’m Kaj. I left from Sauni a few weeks ago. I’m recording natural events until the next solar eclipse.” he said as he fixed his hair. (*Kaj looks like a 14 year old boy, dark hair, and green eyes.*) “Sauni?” replied Katara, trying to get Kaj's mind off Katara’s earlier sentence about love. “Earth Nation town, south of Omashu,” replied Kaj, looking closely at Katara. “You know west of the forest, now what were you saying about love?” “Umm I said, uh, Loaf! Yeah Loaf of bread, for dinner!” said Katara twitching her eye. “Okay, oh, by golly! I never asked your name?” said Kaj in reply. “It’s Katara. I’ll show you my camp, its right on the edge of the forest” she said, pointing at the edge of the woods. “Great! It’s so dry out! I’m starved!”

*Hoped you liked Chapter 2! Who thinks I’m going to help Katara express her feeling?
I DO!*

* Now for Chapter 3!*

Kaj followed Katara back to her camp on the edge of the woods. “Ugh, you go to sew and you come back with a boy!” said Toph, rolling her eyes. “Sewing?” said Kaj raising an eye brow. “I uh, finished.” said Katara. “Forget it; Sokka got some dragon bird eggs out of that tree. Who wants them scrambled (*Like Katara’s emotions- Scrambled and cooked*).

…

After some introducing (*introducing Kaj*) and finishing breakfast, it was time for fire bending. (* Aang finally got over what happened with Jeong Jeong*) Aang began focusing on the sun which was right over the forest, Kaj and Toph where sitting on a rock, talking about the attack on Omashu, and Sokka was out in the woods looking for lunch. Katara was looking at Aang and fell into a day dream. She begins to think “He is so cute. He’s is like a boy from a dream. But he probably doesn’t love me, but I probably love him!”

Unfortunately, she accidentally said “love” out loud. “What did you say Katara?” said Aang, as he looked from the sun to her. “Nothing, nothing,” said Katara. Why can’t I tell Aang that I love him? Katara thought “What should I do? Tell Aang or not?” She made up her mind and she was finally going to tell Aang how she felt. “Aang, I have something I gotta sa-”. “I found lunch!” said Sokka, emerging from the edge of woods.

*Hoped you liked Chapter 3*

*sorry I didn’t help Katara in her feelings issue, but she did try, right?*

*Okay, time for Chapter 4*

“Great!” said Kaj, stand up from the rock he was sitting on. “I’m starved!” said Aang, running over from Katara to Sokka. Katara grunted. “Me too!” said Toph earth bending her way to the table. “Wait, NUTS AGAIN!” said Aang. Sokka laughed. “Yeah!” He looked around and saw that no one was laughing. He began to sweat. “Yeah?” “Uh, I gotta sew again.” said Katara. But this time she grabbed Kaj and ran off.

…

“Okay if you want me to do any thing around you and the toilets then you have the wrong gender,” said Kaj blushing. “No!” said Katara. “I need, some, well, I sort of lied to you about the love thing this morning.” Katara then slightly turned away, as if she was bracing for impact. “I know,” said Kaj, as he put a hand on her shoulder to soothe her “YOU WHAT!” Katara screamed. Kaj took his hand back. “Relax, I knew the whole time, you’re a horrible liar.”
“Oh” said Katara scratching the back of her head. “So, who are you marrying?” said Kaj, pointing to her necklace. “I’m not marrying any one.” said Katara, raising an eyebrow. “Do you think I didn’t notice your engagement necklace?” “It was my mothers; it’s a long story too,” “Oh,” said Kaj, “It uh, looks good on you,” “Thanks” she said blushing a bit. “Wait, this is about Aang,” said Katara. “Mr. Arrow head?” Kaj asked. “I have a, well I sort of, I, well, could you help me get, you know, closer.” Katara asked “I understand perfectly,” said Kaj “I'll help, but under one circumstance, don’t tell Sokka.”

*Hope you liked chapter 4!*

*Well that’s the end of scene 1! I helped Katara, right? So I’ll begin working on scene 2 soon.*

The End

Scene 2
*READ PLZ*

*Remember me! As you see, I have begun to construct scene 2. Well that’s it- oh I almost forgot…

Here’s Chapter 5!*

“Dinner time!” shouted Sokka as he was setting up a table with a bunch of rocks. “I’ll go get the nut cracker,” said Kaj sadly but sarcastically, as he emerged from the woods. Every one sighed. But then Sokka revealed a basket filled with fresh fruit from the trees in the woods. So they ate a good dinner. During that time Kaj told Katara a few closer tips. “Okay Katara, uh, start by sitting next to him at dinner,” and he said “Try offering a papaya,” Dinner then passed. Every one felt stuffed, except Katara. She didn’t eat at all. “Hey, Katara, did you eat any thing?” asked Aang, as he walked over to Katara. “Uh, I wasn’t all that hungry,” she said looking down at her feet. Am I ever gonna tell him? Katara thought.

…

A few hours after dinner, as it got really cold, it was time to go to bed. Sokka started a fire which kept going out, Aang put out the sleeping bags, and Kaj and Toph cleaned the dinner area.
“Its real cold out tonight,” said Sokka, looking at the stars. “It’s at least below fr-fr-freezing.” They all got into their sleeping bags. They all stayed perfectly still, except Aang. He scooted over to Katara. Shivering, he mumbled “I’m a little cold.” Katara put an arm around him and she thought… Does he really like me?

*Hoped you liked Chapter 5!*

*In my opinion, this chapter wasn’t that, you know, romantic like the other ones. But as you know, you need to start a story, and sometimes they are really slow moving.*

*Here’s Chapter 6!*

“Yawn,” said Kaj as he emerged from his sleeping bag. He shook Sokka and Toph awake to help start breakfast. “Is there any dragon eggs in those trees?” said Toph, licking her lips. “Probably-bah!” Kaj said as he tripped. He tripped over Aang and Katara. “My nose is stuck in the dirt,” He yelled. “Who tripped over me!” said Katara as she shot out of her sleeping bag. “Who cares about who just tripped over you, why did you and Aang scream when Kaj’s face hit the dirt?” asked Toph, as she sat up on a rock and crossed her arms. Kaj got back to his feet, after spitting dirt and pine out his mouth and raised an eye brow. “He didn’t.” said Katara, looking at Kaj for some back up (*as you now, Kaj is helping Katara.*). Kaj scratched his back, then nodded and said “Breakfast?” Every one went over to the table. Kaj gave a wink at Katara.

…

“I got to sew!” said Katara. She grabbed Kaj and ran into the woods.
*Hoped you liked Chapter 6!*

*Okay, Chapter 7*

“What now!?” said Kaj as he stopped in front of a big tree “I can’t tell him!” Katara started to cry. “I just can’t!” “Please! Relax Katara. I know what you mean, you don’t know if Aang will love you back, I completely understand.” soothed Kaj. Then he said “But I have no idea how I can help you.” Katara sighed; she looked down at the dirt under her and sighed again. “Maybe, well, have you, ever, uh, well, kissed the guy.” said Kaj, blushing. Katara knew he wasn’t expecting yes. “Well…” said Katara, looking down to hide the blush. “YOU HAVE!” Kaj screamed. “I wasn’t expecting that!” Katara was right. “We had to, we were in this cave.” “YOU WENT INTO THAT CRACK POT CAVE OF LOVE!” roared Kaj.

…

After Kaj calmed down, Katara explained the whole kissing thing (*in episode 202 cave of two lovers.*). “And then we got out by following the crystals out of the cave after we kissed…” Katara proudly finished her story. Kaj’s mouth was hanging open for a few seconds, but then he crossed his arms and said “Stop saying you have to sew, you’re a horrible liar.”

*That was Chapter 7!*

*Well that was a little better than Chapter 6. That’s all I have to say…*

Here’s chapter 8!*

“Kaj! Katara! Time to do a little bending!” said Toph. “We’re coming!” said Katara, emerging from the woods. “I’m here-bah!” said Kaj as he tripped… again. “What did you trip on now!” said Sokka. “It’s, Aang?” said Katara, who was behind Kaj while he tripped. “What are you doing.” said Sokka. “I gotta talk to Katara, privately.” said Aang. Kaj looked at Katara. “How?” said Toph, bending a few pebbles as she thought. “Just privately.” said Aang, relaxing his shoulders. “Uh, go then?” said Kaj, looking at Katara, but facing Aang. Kaj looked at Katara, and then looked at Aang. Aang grabbed Katara, and ran into the woods.

…

“Katara, I’ve got to tell you something” said Aang. “I sort of, well sort of, umm, well, uh…” “No,” said Katara, looking down. “Huh?” said Aang, stepping back. “I have to tell you how I feel.” “Okay if you say so,” “I well, sort of” said Katara. “Yes,” said Aang, gently. “I sort of love you.”

*Hope you liked Chapter 8!*

So that’s the end of Scene 2 and the end of season one in BLAZING EMOTIONS! The reason I left this so open ended is because I truly don’t know how Aang or Katara is gonna react to this, and I’m leaving it open for the creators of Avatar the last air bender to fill in.* *So that’s it.*

THE END
